I am a Masters (Level 7) McTimoney Animal Chiropractor and Equine Body Worker. This means I have completed an MSc in McTimoney Animal Chiropractic, a BSc in Equine Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation and a Equine Energy BodyWorker. In order to work in this industry, I am registered with McTimoney Animal Association (MAA) and the Register of Animal Musculoskeletal Practitioners (RAMP). This gives me guidelines to work within and show a competence to work to professional standards in this industry, and that I adhere to conduct and standards of practice. What is McTimoney?
Horses of any age, breed, size or discipline, alongside rehabilitation cases can benefit from McTimoney as part of their maintenance care, to enhance performance, increase comfort levels and aid movement. McTimoney aims to aid pain and dysfunction of the musculoskeletal system by alleviating misalignments (a restriction in an area which limits normal range of motion). By removing these misalignments, the body is able to return to normal function once again. Misalignments can be either chronic or acute and caused by a number of factors such as falls, injuries or conformation or lifestyle issues such as rider, tack or discipline. The treatment works on identifying the cause, not just by treating the symptoms. What do I offer? I am a McTimoney Animal Chiropractor and Equine Bodyworker. Do you need help bringing your horse back into work? Within the current guidelines and following the BHS statement for riding to become established again, I unusually but happily have available slots for schooling, lessons, training and lunging. Experienced, lightweight, professional and reliable. I have been doing this for the past 5 years and have numerous references to support my work ethic.
